Privacy Policy
JobSign helps contractors create, send, sign, and store work approvals. This policy explains what information we collect, why we use it, and how you can control it.
Who operates JobSign
JobSign is operated by KARKI LLC. If you have questions about privacy or data deletion, contact us at support@jobsign.app.
Information we collect
- Account information: Your email address, display name, Apple Sign-In, Google Sign-In, or other authentication provider identifiers, and anonymous guest account identifier if you use JobSign before signing in.
- Business profile information: Optional business name, individual name, trade, phone, email, website, license information, logo, default payment terms, and approval notes.
- Approval content: Job descriptions, client names, job site addresses, pricing, line items, scope, exclusions, timing notes, generated approval text, signing-link packets, and approval history.
- Signatures: Printed signer name, signature strokes, signature timestamp, and browser/device information associated with a signing link.
- Photos: Site photos you choose to attach to an approval.
- Subscription information: RevenueCat and app-store purchase status, entitlement status, renewal status, and product identifiers needed to unlock Pro features.
- Speech and dictation: If you use microphone input, your device or speech provider may process speech to create text. JobSign receives the transcribed text you choose to use in an approval.
- Technical and security information: Device, browser, operating system, IP address, request timing, usage counters, and rate-limit signals used to operate and protect the service.
How we use information
- To create AI-drafted approvals from your job descriptions.
- To store and sync your approvals, business profile, signing links, signatures, and PDFs.
- To generate, view, download, print, and share signed approval PDFs.
- To provide address autocomplete when you type a job site address.
- To manage free limits, Pro access, abuse prevention, rate limits, and account security.
- To respond to support requests and troubleshoot app or billing issues.
AI generation
JobSign sends the job details you provide to Google Cloud Vertex AI to generate approval drafts. You should review generated content before sending it to a client or asking for a signature.
We do not sell your approval content and we do not use your approval content to train our own AI models.
Third-party services
- Firebase Authentication, Firestore, Storage, Hosting, and Cloud Functions: Authentication, database, file storage, signing links, PDF generation, and backend processing.
- Google Cloud Vertex AI: AI approval generation.
- Google Places API: Address autocomplete suggestions.
- RevenueCat: Subscription and entitlement management.
- Apple App Store and Google Play: App distribution and in-app purchase billing where applicable.
Signing links
A signing link can be opened by anyone who has the link. The link shows a frozen approval packet so the client can review and sign without creating a JobSign account. Do not share signing links with people who should not see the approval.
How long we keep information
We keep account, profile, approval, signing, and PDF information while your account is active or while needed to provide the service. You can delete individual approvals in the app. You can also delete your account in the app, which starts deletion of data associated with your user ID.
Your choices
- Delete approvals: You can delete approvals from the app.
- Delete account: Use the in-app account deletion option from the account/profile area. For security, Firebase may require you to sign in again before deletion.
- Manage subscriptions: Subscriptions are managed through the App Store or Google Play subscription settings.
- Contact support: Email support@jobsign.app for privacy or account help.
What we do not do
- We do not sell your personal information.
- We do not show third-party ads in JobSign.
- We do not intentionally make your approvals public.
- We do not provide legal advice.
Security
We use Firebase and Google Cloud security features, HTTPS, authentication, Firestore security rules, and server-side checks to help protect account and approval data. No online service can guarantee perfect security, so use care when sharing signing links and client information.
Children
JobSign is intended for contractors and service professionals. It is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as JobSign changes. If we make material changes, we will update this page and may notify users through the app or by email.
